Join us for a film and panel discussion on “Beyond Their Years: The Incredible Legacies of Herb Carnegie and Buck O’Neil.”  The 48-minute film ties together their legacies in a verité style that teaches, heals, and humanizes.  This event is sponsored by the Ocean County College Foundation, which has generously underwritten the cost of tickets, and the Organization for Black Unity.

Come take part in Improv Club’s first performance of the semester, “The Cursed Artifact”.  This is an interactive performance not to be missed!  The event is free to all students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Join members of The History Department and History Club as they attend a special guest presentation by Holocaust survivor Maud Dahme. As a six-year-old, Dahme was hidden by the Dutch resistance, a movement of people in the Netherlands who opposed Hitler’s regime. They worked to hide and shelter Jewish people. She is the author of her memoir, “Chocolate: The Taste of Freedom.”

The event is free to all students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Join us in the student center on April 18 as we join together to fight hunger and homelessness! Some of the event highlights are: Food by JBJ Soul Kitchen and the clubs at 皇冠365官方APP, a live DJ, a group mural project, information tables on local resources, and a Mystery Bag fundraiser!  Planning just started for this amazing event and more details will be available soon.
